At Chesnee Middle School, we believe in fostering an environment where every student can thrive academically, artistically, athletically and socially. Our classrooms are focused on rigorous and relevant learning opportunities differentiated to meet students’ varying needs. We encourage active participation in a variety of activities and diverse programs including Project Lead the Way, Game Club, Beta Club, Model UN, AVID, JROTC, and more. Additionally, students can immerse themselves in our Athletics and Fine Arts Programs, offering opportunities for growth on and off the stage, field, and court.

Our dedicated faculty is highly qualified, with many holding master’s and advanced degrees, bringing years of valuable experience to the classroom. Above all, our teachers prioritize student learning, ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.

Chesnee Middle School has proudly received numerous accolades and boasts achievements reflecting our commitment to excellence: Excellent report card rating, Red Carpet Award, Palmetto Gold and Silver Awards, 2017 Model UN Key to the City, National Junior Beta School of Distinction, and more. Our Band and Orchestra programs consistently achieve excellent and superior ratings, while our athletes embody the spirit of champions. Our orchestra earned the SCMEA Outstanding Performance Award - GOLD in 2024. Our 2022 football team secured a Division Championship, our 2023 wrestling team won the Foothills Conference Regular Season Duals Championship, and many of our middle school students contribute to state championship wrestling and golf teams at the high school level.
